We are looking for motivated and dependable full-time employees to join our pre-engineered metal builder team.

Job Duties:

Erect steel framing
Install metal roofing
Install metal siding
Install insulation
Install trim work

Requirements:

Practical knowledge of metal building tools and fall protection gear
Ability to listen well and follow instructions
Be a good team player
Overall awareness and respect for health and safety practices
Working knowledge of forklifts, aerial lifts and scissor lifts
One year of metal building experience
Pass drug test
Travel (majority of work is in SC, NC and VA)

Preferred:

Driver's License
Equipment certifications
Welding certifications
OSHA training

HB Metal Builders, LLC began in 2009 as Herrod Construction when Herman Burger opened the pre-engineered metal building erection business in Myrtle Beach, SC. His metal building career started ten years earlier when he came to America from South Africa. He worked as a crewman erecting mini-storage metal buildings. As the metal building industry grew, Herman began working with larger and more complex pre-engineered metal buildings, and ultimately managing large crews and projects. From there, it was a short leap to running his own company.

Today, with his reputation for quality and service, along with his industry certifications and over 15 years of experience, Herman continues to lead HB Metal Builders, LLC to success.
